I'm cancelling forays between Dec 28th and Jan 6th due to predicted heavy rains, most days greater than 0.5". Not only is it cold and miserable, but trails are slippery, and tree limbs can fall randomly. One person was injured (broken hand) at Salt Point by falling tree limb last week.

But, after these rains, we should start seeing hedgehogs and black trumpets, hopefully in really great numbers!! Yay for rain! Just have to wait for good days to go out mushroom hunting.
